Tagami supports phone-only payments through the Square POS app — no external readers, docks, or cables required.
How It Works
- Install the Square POS app on any recent iPhone (iOS 16 +).
- Enable “Tap to Pay on iPhone.” The iPhone’s built-in NFC accepts contactless cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
- Pair the device with Tagami. In the Tagami admin panel choose Square → POS App and enter your Application ID, Access Token, and Location ID.
- At checkout Tagami launches Square POS via deeplink, pre-fills the total, and hands control to the iPhone for a tap-to-pay moment.
- When the charge is approved Square calls back to Tagami — the order is instantly marked Paid.

Supported Payment Methods
Any NFC-enabled card or wallet your Square account supports — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc. Guests just tap and go.
Optional: Bank Transfer (SBP)
If you operate in regions where instant bank QR payments are popular, Tagami can also display an SBP (or similar) QR code on the same iPhone screen. Guests decide: tap the phone or scan the QR — whatever is most convenient.
Quick Start Checklist
- Square business account with Tap-to-Pay enabled
- iPhone 11 or newer, iOS 16+
- Tagami admin → Settings → Payment Integration → Square → POS App
